The Memphis Grizzlies are using Indianapolis-based Vontoo to send recorded phone messages to fans trying to drum up ticket sales. Apparently Rudy Gay has the power of persuasion in his voice:

In one recent promotion, Vontoo says, the team used the voice of rookie Rudy Gay to sell 1,500 tickets, resulting in $33,000 in sales with one call that cost just $650.
